Today the Star Shopper published it’s last printed issue.
After over 44 years of connecting our community in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas, the difficult decision was made to discontinue the print publication.
It’s no secret that the publishing industry as a whole is going through a time of great transformation as retailers and classified advertisers have shifted their focus to digital. In 2015, we revamped the Star Shopper’s website, StarShopper.com, to serve the needs of an audience that looks for new deals not just once a week, but every day.
Although it is difficult to say goodbye to the print publication, we plan to relaunch the Star Shopper website to bring you even better classifieds, advertising, and items of local interest.
We also spun off our digital arm, Blue Star Business Services, to help businesses adapt and thrive in the world of digital advertising and marketing. Whether you need a website, social media advertising, e-commerce, or digital consulting, Blue Star can help. You can find them at www.bluestarbiz.com.
Thank you all for 44 years of making the Star Shopper a household name. We want you to know how much we have appreciated you. We hope to continue serving you as you seek new and better ways to buy and sell in the digital marketplace.
